4 Year Old Program
At Diamond Hills preschool we have the strong belief that children learn through play. We provide a balance between structured and unstructured, child initiated and adult supported experiences. The adults provide a nurturing, stimulating, responsive environment and interact with the children to create a constant learning situation.
We use positive reinforcement and encouragement. The sum of our guidance is children that are self disciplined and responsible for their own actions.
We develop group participation, sharing knowledge and equipment, self reliance, cooperation, respecting each other and respecting each others abilities.
Participation and involvement are actively encouraged because parents as well as families play an important role in the program.
