2025 Timetable
The 2025 timetable has taken into consideration both the educational needs of the children and the current needs of our working families. When considering if Diamond Hills Preschool is right for your family, please consider the following:
- We have a team of very experienced staff who are able to adapt the program to meet your child’s needs.
- We have adopted a traditional sessional kinder model (three short days) which provides developmentally appropriate and optimum learning periods for our educational play-based program.
- The optional extended care program offers an opportunity for the children to be cared for in our lovely kinder facility which offers a play-based environment for the children and provides support for our working families.

Extended Care Program
Diamond Hills Preschool are pleased to offer an extended care program to support the needs of our families. The operation of the extended care program is dependent on uptake and is subject to change.
Our extended care program will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for the 3YO and 4YO classes on those days. The extended care program will have an out of pocket cost, is not subject to childcare subsidy and will not be available for casual sessions.

Free Kinder
In June 2022, the Victorian State Government announced their Free Kindergarten initiative commencing 2023. You can read about the program <here>.
Diamond Hills Preschool is participating in the Free Kinder program for both its 3 year old and 4 year old kindergarten programs, meaning that there are no parent fees for a child to attend one of our preschool programs.
A child can only be funded for a kindergarten program place at one service at any one time and only for one year in a Three-Year-Old Kindergarten program and one year in a Four-Year-Old Kindergarten program (unless a child is assessed as being eligible for a second year of Four-Year-Old Kindergarten by the preschool).
Parents will be required to notify the preschool if their child is enroled in multiple services; full, unsubsidised fees will apply for any enrolment where Free Kinder funding is not nominated to Diamond Hills Preschool.
